May I take this opportunity to welcome you into the community that is Highcliffe School. Highcliffe is a remarkable place with a special atmosphere.
We are delighted that you have chosen Highcliffe and are well aware of the trust you place in us. You will be with us until you are 18 years of age, arriving as a child and leaving as a mature responsible adult we are all proud of. Former students have gone on to work in the Paris fashion houses, in international finance, law, education, politics, engineering, medicine and science, or as great chefs, carers, artists, musicians, mechanics, gardeners and much more – but not before they have thrived at Highcliffe School academically, creatively and socially.
We believe that all young people need to be challenged and supported to discover their special talents and interests. While you are with us, we will encourage you to make the most of the opportunities at Highcliffe. We expect you to be Purposeful and give your best at all times persevering in the face of challenges, to be Responsible by accepting the commitment and behaviours that ‘learning’ requires of you, and be Respectful by demonstrating respect for your own and others’ right to an education, the school’s rules and behaviour expectations, and its facilities.
We ask all parents who have chosen our School to support proactively the aspirations and expectations Highcliffe School has of its students and work positively with our staff to ensure that your son or daughter’s time at Highcliffe is a happy, secure and ultimately highly successful one.
