Highcliffe School links arms with Cancer Research

On Saturday 25th March, Highcliffe School opened it’s doors to the Christchurch branch of Cancer Research UK for their annual fund raising Barn Dance.

The evening was a sell out with 120 people dosey-doeing around the school hall with the forthcoming Mayor and Mayoress of Christchurch, Nick and Gillian Geary, joining in and supporting the fund raising event.

Event organiser, Vicky Mason said "Christchurch Cancer Research UK Fundraising Committee are delighted to thank Highcliffe School for providing an excellent venue for our annual Barn Dance.  Many of our guests mentioned how much they enjoyed the evening, in particular the warm welcoming atmosphere of Highcliffe School.  The event allowed us to raise £1,404 for the life-saving work of our charity".

Highcliffe School values the importance of charitable endeavours and is proud to have enabled the Highcliffe and Christchurch community to raise such vital funds for Cancer Research UK.
