Late on Sunday 15th October we said “au revoir” to our French Exchange partners from Collège Trémolières after an action-packed week of cultural and linguistic activities. The 15th Annual Exchange included spending a day in Highcliffe and Ballard Schools, a bingo and fish and chip supper and a visit to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Spinnaker Tower (see below – the group 100metres above sea level on the glass sky walk!)
Our penfriends also managed to pack in trips to London and Beaulieu and a walking discovery tour of Highcliffe and Christchurch via Hengistbury Head. They also thoroughly enjoyed their “en famille” experience and it was a full turnout at the airport to wish them “bon retour”. We will shortly be seeking expressions of interest for 12 places on the Highcliffe and Ballard Schools’ “Cholet 2018” Exchange in June.
